Upsilon Beta Gamma Chapter PBL Meeting Minutes October 31, 2006

A regular meeting of PBL was called to order at 11:15 on October 31st in Room 160.

Members in attendance were as follows: Brittany Carlton-President, Susan Shoulders-Vice President, Hannah Disponett-Secretary, Connie Rutherford-Reporter, Bill Shinkle-Treasurer, Diane Freeman, Amanda Barkley, Chelsea Barkley, Cathy Cheek, Carol Aldridge and John Ozbun.

Hannah Disponett read the meeting minutes from last week at the start of the meeting. Bill Shinkle then read the treasurer report. We made $328.81 at the yard sale.

It was motioned by Connie Rutherford and seconded by Bill Shinkle that we begin selling raffle tickets for the Christmas quilts the Monday, November 6th. We will have the drawing on November 28th.

It was also motioned by Connie Rutherford and seconded by Carol Aldridge for PBL members to take shifts at the Thanksgiving Pitch-In Dinner and sale some raffle tickets. This dinner is on November 21st. The prices will be $2.00/ a ticket and $3.00/ for 5. If you have not gotten your raffle ticket yet please stop by Room 159 and ask Mr. Ozbun.
A motion was made by Hannah Disponett and seconded by Susan Shoulders that we take Santa Claus pictures with local children before Christmas. This will take place on December 2nd from 8:00a.m.-3:00p.m. The pictures will be taken in room 160 and we will be doing Photoshop on and developing them in room 159. Different packages will be available as well as a choice of three backgrounds and different size pictures. The standard price for on 4X6 will be $5. We will have a sign up sheet at a later meeting so everyone can sign up for a shift.
A motion was made by Brittany Carlton and seconded by Susan Shoulders to pick and angel off the Angel Tree. At our next meeting we will decide how we are going to buy these gifts. This year we have decided to have a PBL Christmas Dinner. We are going to be going out to eat and will also be doing a Secret Santa. Gifts should be around $5.00 and we will be giving those out at our dinner. The drawing for Secret Santa will be at a later meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:55 by general consent. The next meeting will be November 14th at 11:30 in room 160.
